দ্রুত এবং অব্যাহতভাবে কথা বলা, সাধারণত অপ্রয়োজনীয় বা তুচ্ছ বিষয়ে, বিশেষ করে হালকা বা অনানুষ্ঠানিকভাবে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

অনানুষ্ঠানিক; সাধারণত হালকা-ফুলকা ও তুচ্ছ বিষয় নিয়ে কথা বলার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় (যেমন: 'chatter about the weather')। 'discuss' বা 'debate'-এর থেকে অনেক সহজ।
