多次痛打某人並使其受傷。也可用於形容舊或損壞的東西，如“beat-up 車”。

“Beat up”屬非正式說法，常描述嚴重打鬥。作形容詞“beat-up”時，指物品破舊或損壞。不適用於輕微碰撞。勿與“beat”(打敗)或“make up”(和解)混淆。
