هزيمة شخص في النقاش باستخدام حجج أو منطق أقوى.

عادةً صيغة غير رسمية وتستخدم في النقاشات أو الإقناع. لا تعني فقط الاختلاف بل إثبات ضعف حجة الطرف الآخر؛ يمكن أن تعني أيضًا تخفيض السعر بالحجج ('argue down the price').
