Definition
失語症は、脳の損傷によって話す、理解する、読む、書く能力が低下する症状です。主に脳卒中や頭部外傷の後に起こります。

失語症は主に医療現場や専門的な場面で使われます。言語能力の障害に限定される言葉で、混乱状態とは異なります。'dysphasia'や'apraxia'とは区別されます。
