যখন ফোন বাজে তখন সেটি রিসিভ করা অথবা কেউ গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কিছু চায়, তখন সেই চাহিদায় সাড়া দেওয়া।

'ফোন ধরো' কথাটি ফোন কেবল ধরার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'দায়িত্ব পালন করা' মূলত গুরুত্বপূর্ন দায়িত্ব বা আহ্বান মেনে নেওয়ার ক্ষেত্রেই ব্যবহৃত হয়। উদাহরণস্বরূপ, 'call of duty' এর মতো প্রসঙ্গে।
