Definition
কোনও কিছুর মোট বা পরিমাণ কতো হচ্ছে তা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণত আর্থিক, আইনি বা পরিসংখ্যানিক বিষয়ে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

'amounting' সাধারণত 'to' এর পর ব্যবহৃত হয় যেমন 'amounting to 500 টাকা'। স্বতন্ত্রভাবে ক্রিয়া হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত নয়; ফলাফল বা মোট বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
