الكيان التابع هو شخص أو جهة مرتبطة رسمياً بمجموعة أو شركة أو منظمة أكبر. ويمكن أن تعني أيضاً شركة تملكها أو تديرها شركة أخرى.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

'Affiliate' غالباً يُستخدم في مجال الأعمال ليشير إلى الشركات التابعة أو الشريكة. يُستخدم كاسم وفعل. من الشائع قول 'affiliate company' أو 'affiliate program'. لا تخلطه مع 'associate' الذي له معنى أوسع. الكلمة رسمية وغالباً في سياق الأعمال.
