Kişinin veya canlının yeni bir duruma, çevreye ya da koşullara zamanla alışması ve rahat hissetmesi.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Genellikle bilimsel veya resmi ortamlarda kullanılır. 'to' ile beraber (örn: 'yeni işe alışmak') sıkça geçer. 'getting used to'ya göre daha az samimi bir ifadedir.
