Definition

'word' का बहुवचन; भाषा की वे इकाइयाँ जिनका अर्थ होता है। आमतौर पर कहे, लिखे या वादे किए गए बातों के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

‘words’ अक्सर 'put it into words', 'words of advice', 'keep your word' जैसी अभिव्यक्तियों में आता है। यह शब्दावली या बोले गये वाक्यों को दर्शा सकता है। एकवचन 'word' वादा के अर्थ में आता है, बहुवचन में नहीं।
