何かや誰かの場所を尋ねる時に使う言葉。また、物語や状況の場所にも使われることがある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

たいてい疑問文や関係詞節で使う（例：'Where is...?','wherever'）。方法ではなく場所を表す時だけ使う。
