Definition

الوتد هو قطعة لها طرف سميك وآخر رفيع تستخدم لتثبيت أو فصل الأشياء، أو أي شيء له شكل مثلثي.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

يستخدم 'wedge' للأدوات مثل وتد الباب أو للأشياء المثلثة كقطعة جبن. غالباً اسم، ويمكن أن يستخدم كفعل بمعنى تثبيت أو حشر. تعبيرات: 'a wedge between', 'potato wedge'.
