উপরে বা উচ্চতর অবস্থানের দিকে গমন বা দৃষ্টি; উপরের দিকে চলা বা নির্দেশিত হওয়া বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'উর্ধ্বমুখী প্রবণতা' মানে বাড়তি হওয়া বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'উর্ধ্বমুখী' সাধারণত লেখ্য ভাষায় বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'upward' ও 'upwards' প্রায় একই অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হলেও, 'upwards' কথ্য ভাষায় বেশি প্রচলিত।
