Definition

열한 다음, 열셋 앞에 오는 수로, 나이나 시간, 날짜, 수량을 셀 때 사용한다.

수량을 나타내는 기본 숫자이다. '열두 살', '열두 시', '열두 명의 학생'처럼 쓴다. '다스(a dozen)' 또한 12개를 뜻함.

My sister is twelve years old.

The class starts at twelve.
