Definition

ある言語の言葉や文章を別の言語に変えること。広い意味で他の表現に言い換える場合もある。

主に言語の変換に使われ ('from'や'into'で言語を指定)、書かれたものや話されたものの両方に使える。「interpret」は通訳を指すので区別に注意。
