Definition

トッピングとは、ピザのチーズやアイスクリームのチョコチップのように、食べ物の上にのせる追加の食材のことです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

食べ物の上に直接のせる材料に使われます。「ピザのトッピング」「アイスのトッピング」など。「混ぜるソース」にはあまり使いません。
