トマトは丸くて赤や黄色の果実で、中がジューシーです。料理やサラダで野菜のように使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「トマト」は単数・複数に関わらず同じ言い方です。『fresh tomatoes』『cherry tomatoes』『ripe tomatoes』などの表現があります。通常、「トマト」はそのままの果実を指し、ケチャップや加工品は含みません。「じゃがいも（potato）」と混同しないでください。
