床や壁、屋根を覆うために使う平らな四角い部材。主にセラミックや石、時にガラスなどで作られる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「タイル」はバスルームやキッチンの壁や床、建物の外壁、場合によっては屋根にも使う。「屋根瓦」は屋根専用。使う場所で言い方が変わることに注意。
