화자에게서 멀리 떨어져 있는 여러 개의 사물이나 사람을 가리킬 때 사용한다. 'that'의 복수형이다.

'these'는 가까운 것, 'those'는 먼 것에 사용한다. 명사의 앞이나 혼자 쓸 수 있다.

I want to buy those shoes, not these.

나는 **저** 신발들을 사고 싶어, 이것들이 아니라.

Do you see those birds over there?

저기 **저** 새들 보여?

Those days were the best of my life.

**그때** 시절이 내 인생에서 가장 좋았어.

Can you hand me those over there?
