أشخاص يسرقون أشياء من أشخاص آخرين أو من أماكن مختلفة. وهي صيغة الجمع الشاذة لكلمة "thief".

Usage Notes (Arabic)

تُستعمل "thief" لشخص واحد و"thieves" لأكثر من شخص. من التراكيب الشائعة: "car thieves" و"identity thieves" و"catch the thieves". كلمات أوسع أو أكثر رسمية مثل "robbers" و"criminals" لا تكون مرادفة تمامًا في كل سياق.
