Definition

ছোট পোকা যা কাঠ খায় এবং বড় দলে বাস করে, ঘরবাড়ি ও অন্যান্য কাঠের জিনিস নষ্ট করতে পারে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'দিমাক' শব্দটি সাধারণত গোষ্ঠী বা দল হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়; পোকাটিকে 'পিঁপড়া'র সাথে মিলিয়ে ফেলবেন না। 'Termite infestation', 'termite damage', 'termite nest' ইত্যাদি কথায় ব্যবহৃত হয়।
