Definition

人や場面が緊張している、ストレスを感じている状態。また、文法では動詞の過去・現在・未来などの時を表す形を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

'緊張した'は感情や雰囲気、身体の緊張にも使われます。文法の'時制'は『past tense』『verb tenses』などの表現で使われます。“intense”とは意味が異なります。
