Definition

「ten」の複数形で、十個ずつのまとまりまたは10から99の数字（十の位）を指します。十から百までの数量を話す時によく使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に数学や数える時に使います。「tens of people（数十人）」のような言い方が多いです。10自体ではなく、その複数のまとまりに使います。
