Definition

‘테이프’의 복수형으로, 소리나 영상을 녹음할 때 쓰는 카세트테이프나, 물건을 붙이거나 포장할 때 쓰는 접착테이프를 모두 의미한다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

녹음용일 땐 ‘카세트테이프’, 포장용일 땐 ‘접착테이프’ 등 문맥에 따라 구분해 사용한다. 요즘은 녹음용 테이프는 거의 쓰지 않는다.
