Definition

एक फर्नीचर जिसमें सपाट सतह और टाँगें होती हैं, खाने, काम करने आदि के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। यह जानकारी को पंक्तियों और स्तंभों में व्यवस्थित करने के लिए भी प्रयोग होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Table' का ज़्यादा उपयोग फर्नीचर के लिए होता है; यह जानकारी या आंकड़ों के समूह के लिए भी काम में आता है ('data table')। आम प्रयोग: 'kitchen table', 'set the table'। क्रिया के रूप में (जैसे 'to table an idea') सीखना जरूरी नहीं।
