Definition

多くの昆虫が集まって動く集団を指します。比喩的に多くの人が一度に集まって動く様子にも使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に昆虫に使われますが、人や物が一斉に集まる様子にも使えます。「a swarm of bees（ハチの群れ）」がよく使われます。動詞としては「群がる」という意味です。
