Definition

어떤 일을 잠시 멈추고 나중에 다시 시작하는 것. 또한, 위에서 무언가를 매다는 것을 의미할 수도 있다.

격식 있는 상황에서 자주 사용됨. '직장에서 suspend'는 임시적임을 뜻함. 완전한 취소 의미 아님.

The lamp is suspended from the ceiling.
