경찰이 범죄를 저질렀을 가능성이 있다고 생각하는 사람들. 뭔가 잘못되거나 의심스러운 일에 연루된 것으로 여겨지는 사람들을 뜻하기도 함.

Usage Notes (Korean)

범죄 관련 이야기에서 복수형 명사로 주로 사용 ('the suspects were arrested'). 영어에서 동사, 형용사로도 쓰이니 구분에 주의.
