과학적으로 설명할 수 없음에도 어떤 행동이나 사건, 사물이 행운이나 불운을 가져온다고 믿는 것.
Usage Notes (Korean)
주로 명사로 쓰이며 일상과 격식 둘 다에서 사용된다. 'ancient superstition', 'popular superstition'와 같이 쓰임. 행운이나 설명되지 않는 힘과 관련한 비합리적 신념을 의미한다.
