ज़्यादातर अनौपचारिक ढंग से आराम से चलने के लिए कहते हैं; आम तौर पर 'take a stroll' जैसे वाक्य आते हैं। तेज़ चलने या व्यायाम के लिए इस्तेमाल नहीं होता। क्रिया या संज्ञा दोनों हो सकता है।
