スプーンなどで何かをかき混ぜること。または感情や反応を引き起こすこともある。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
液体や料理を混ぜるときによく使う（'stirs the soup'）。比喩的に感情や雰囲気を動かす場合にも用いる（'stirs emotions', 'stirs up trouble'）。常に現在形の三人称単数で使われている点に注意。
