Definition

यह 'stay' का third-person singular रूप है। इसका अर्थ है किसी जगह पर रुकना या ठहरना, वहाँ से न जाना, कहीं अस्थायी रूप से रहना, या उसी स्थिति में बने रहना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

आम पैटर्न हैं: 'stays at home', 'stays with friends', 'stays in a hotel', 'stays the same'. अस्थायी रूप से कहीं ठहरने या रात बिताने के लिए 'stay' इस्तेमाल होता है, 'live' नहीं। 'Remain' , 'stay' से ज़्यादा formal है।
