ভূত বা অদৃশ্য আত্মাকে বোঝায়; কখনও কখনও এমন কিছু বোঝায় যা খুব ভয়ের বা চিন্তার কারণ হতে পারে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'spectre' সাহিত্যিক বা আনুষ্ঠানিক ভাষায় ব্যবহৃত হয়, সাধারণ কথাবার্তায় নয়। 'the spectre of war' মানে যুদ্ধের আশঙ্কা।
