Definition

言葉で自分の考えや気持ちを伝えること。誰かの話し方や話すスキルを指す場合もある。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「public speaking」は人前で話すこと、「speaking skills」は話す能力を指します。「by speaking」や「in speaking」など前置詞の後ろでよく使います。「talking」よりややフォーマルです。
