スレイヤーとは、主に怪物や危険な存在を倒す人や存在を指します。ファンタジーや冒険物語によく使われる言葉です。

「slayer」は「killer」よりドラマチックな響きがあり、日常会話では使わず、主にファンタジーやホラー作品で「バンパイア・スレイヤー」などの形で使われます。普通の犯罪者には使いません。
