Definition
‘Oturur’, birinin veya bir hayvanın oturur pozisyonda olduğunu belirtir. Ayrıca bir şeyin veya yerin belirli bir noktada mevcut olduğunu da anlatır.
Usage Notes (Turkish)
Genellikle kişi veya hayvanlar için ('She sits by the window.') kullanılır. Yer ve nesneler için de geçerlidir ('The house sits on a hill.'). Hareketsiz veya bırakılan bir şeyi anlatabilir ('The food sits in the fridge.'). 'Seat' ile karıştırmayınız.
