“shores” in Bengali
Definition
তীর হল সেই ভূমি যা সমুদ্র, হ্রদ বা বড় নদীর কিনার ঘেঁষে বিস্তৃত। সাধারণত একাধিক উপকূল অঞ্চল বোঝাতে একবচনে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Usage Notes (Bengali)
'Shores' কবিতায় বা আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে কোনো দেশের উপকূল বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়, যেমন 'the shores of Italy'। বিমূর্ত অর্থেও ব্যবহার হতে পারে, যেমন 'distant shores'। সাধারণত বহুবচনে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
