シートとは、大きくて薄いものの一枚のことです。紙1枚やベッドカバー、金属や氷の薄い板などを指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「a sheet of paper」「bed sheets」「a sheet of metal」などの表現がよく使われます。「シート」は薄いもの、「毛布（ブランケット）」は厚手で別物です。
