الحراس هم جنود أو أفراد يقفون لمراقبة مكان ما من أجل حمايته والانتباه لأي خطر.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

كلمة "sentries" تستخدم في السياقات الرسمية أو العسكرية للحراس المسلحين عند المداخل أو الحدود. غالبًا مع عبارات مثل "stand guard" أو "on duty". لا تُستخدم عادة لحراس الأمن العاديين.
