눈으로 무엇이나 누구를 바라보다. 이해하거나 누군가를 만나다는 뜻으로도 쓰인다.

'see'는 시각적으로 보는 것 외에 이해하다('I see what you mean'), 만나다('I'll see you tomorrow') 등 다양한 의미로 사용된다. 비공식적으로 작별 인사(see ya)에도 쓴다.

I see a bird in the tree.

나무에 새가 **보여**.

Can you see the stars at night?

밤에 별이 **보이나요**?

I will see you tomorrow at school.

내일 학교에서 너를 **볼게**.

Did you see what happened in the game last night?
