ধারালো বা খসখসে কিছু দিয়ে চামড়া বা পৃষ্ঠে হওয়া ছোট, পাতলা দাগ বা ছিদ্র।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'scratches' সাধারণত ত্বক, ফার্নিচার, গাড়ি ইত্যাদিতে বহু হালকা দাগ বা চিহ্ন বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণ ব্যবহার—'cat scratches', 'table-এর scratches'। গভীর ক্ষতের জন্য নয়।
