「スキャン画像」は、スキャナーで作成されたデジタル画像や、医療機器で撮影された検査画像を指します。

IT分野（書類スキャンなど）や医療（CTスキャン、MRI検査など）で使われます。医療の場合「検査画像」と表現されることが多いです。
