"Sank" হলো "sink"-এর সাধারণ অতীতকাল। জাহাজ, বস্তু বা অনুভূতির ক্ষেত্রে (যেমন "my heart sank") ব্যবহৃত হয়। সাধারণত অনিচ্ছাকৃত ঘটনার জন্য ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং এটি আক্ষরিক বা রূপক অর্থে হতে পারে।
