サーモンは海に住み、産卵のために川をさかのぼる魚です。ピンクオレンジ色の身があり、人気のある食材です。

「サーモン」は魚そのものや食べ物の両方を指します。肉の場合は数えない名詞として使います。色を表す場合は「サーモンピンク」と言います。
