Definition

ルールは、何をしていいか、してはいけないかを決める決まり事で、ゲームや組織、特定の状況で守るべきものです。行動を導くために存在します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

ルールはほとんどの場合複数形で使います（例:「学校のルール」）。「regulations」はより公式・法律的な意味です。「law」（法律）とは区別してください。よく使う表現例: 'follow/break the rules', 'set the rules', 'rules and regulations'。
