「ロマンス」の複数形で、恋愛関係や恋愛を題材にした小説や映画などの物語を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

現実の恋愛やフィクション両方に使います。「ロマンス小説」など、ジャンルとしても使用されます。「ロマンス語（言語）」の意味では使いません。「summer romances」などフレーズに注意。
