سحب شيء للوراء أو التراجع عن تصريح أو وعد أو ادعاء، غالبًا لأنه كان خطأ أو غير صحيح.

غالبًا يستخدم في السياق الرسمي: 'يتراجع عن تصريح' أو 'يسحب وعده'. يُستخدم للأشياء المادية وغير المادية. لا تخلطه مع 'قابل للسحب' (retractable).
