वह काम या कर्तव्य जिसे करना या संभालना आपका फ़र्ज़ हो, या किसी चीज़ के लिए ज़िम्मेदार होना और उसके परिणामों का जवाब देना।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

यह अक्सर 'have', 'take', 'accept' और 'share' जैसे verbs के साथ आता है। 'responsibility for' बताता है कि किस चीज़ के लिए कोई जवाबदेह है, जबकि 'it is my responsibility to...' कर्तव्य पर ज़ोर देता है। यह रोज़मर्रा के कामों के लिए भी और नैतिक या क़ानूनी जवाबदेही के लिए भी इस्तेमाल होता है।
