যে ব্যক্তি অন্যদের পক্ষে কথা বলে বা কাজ করে, অথবা যারা কোনো রাজনৈতিক সংস্থায় নির্বাচিত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Class representative', 'sales representative', এবং 'student representative' বিশেষভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। রাজনৈতিক ক্ষেত্রে এটা 'সদস্য' অর্থে ব্যবহার হয়, 'senator' এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলা যাবে না। 'rep' আধুনিক ও অনানুষ্ঠানিক রূপ।
