어떤 것을 다시 말하거나 하거나 같은 일이 또 일어나는 것. 상대방이 못 들었을 때 같은 말을 다시 할 때도 쓴다.

Usage Notes (Korean)

‘repeat a word’, ‘repeat a question’, ‘repeat a mistake’, ‘repeat the process’와 같은 표현에 자주 사용. 'Could you repeat that?'은 정중하게 다시 말해달라는 표현. 좋지 않은 일이 반복될 때 ‘repeat’를 씀.
