Definition

「親戚」は家族の一員、例えばおば、いとこ、祖父などを指します。形容詞「相対的」は、状況や比較によって変わるもので、絶対的ではありません。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

名詞の場合、主に家族の中の人を指す：「近い親戚」「遠い親戚」など。形容詞の場合は「相対的価値」「相対的速度」「relative to」などフォーマルな表現で使われます。「relationship」と混同しないよう注意。
